Russell Ricalde is the Founder and President of Russell Ricalde Investigations, Security and Firearms Training. Mr. Ricalde has spent 25 years serving as a Special Agent with various U.S. government agencies. He served as a SWAT Team Leader for 12 years with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations.
Russell Ricalde has also worked closely with the US Marshals Service, Regional Fugitive Task Force, giving him extensive experience in locating and apprehending violent wanted persons. Russ retired from the federal government as a Special Agent/Federal Criminal Investigator. The last 15 years of his career mostly involved narcotics, gang, human trafficking, child pornography and other types of Federal and state investigations
Mr. Ricalde spent six years conducting and teaching Executive Protection with the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security. He provided protective security for numerous diplomats to include U.S. Secretary of State James Baker, U.S. Secretary of State Warren Christopher, U.S. Secretary of State Madeline Albright, PLO Leader Yasser Arafat, Princess Dianna of the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United State, Prince Bandar Bin Sultan and other foreign dignitaries and distinguished guests.
Mr. Ricalde has travelled extensively overseas as Special Agent, working in over 30 countries to include areas of the Middle East, the former Soviet Union, West Africa, Europe, Asia, and Haiti. Russ was deployed during numerous national and international emergencies to include the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in New York City, hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the Haiti earthquake in 2010.
Mr. Ricalde has been a certified firearms instructor for over 22 years and has provided advanced training to Special Agents in three federal agencies. He has also trained foreign national police units, U.S government and military personnel overseas, and civilian clients. Russ has studied mixed martial arts (MMA) for over 30 years and holds numerous Defensive Tactics Instructor certifications. He is a NRA Law Enforcement and Civilian Firearms Instructor and currently holds a Florida Class K Firearms Instructor License. He is also a licensed private investigator in the State of Florida.
With 20- years of experience, James acquired the first nine years of that experience working as a Certified Firearms Instructor in a corporate environment. In 2012, James joined the private sector and has continued his dedication to providing quality instruction to the public. James’ focus on “Firearm Safety through Training and Education” has provided countless individuals the ability to protect themselves and their families through competent and accurate firearm handling.
He holds several firearm instructor certifications including; NRA Certified Firearms Instructor, USCCA Certified Instructor, NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor - Handgun & Shotgun, Brinks Firearms Instructors Course, NRA Pistol Instructor, NRA Home Firearm Instructor and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.

Frederick Humphries is a retired Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) with 21 years’ experience and certifications in Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, Special Operations, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), Evidence Response Teams (ERT), Hazardous Materials Response Teams, Human Intelligence, and police instruction.
He is a veteran of the United States Army having served in the enlisted, non-commissioned, and commissioned officer ranks in the Infantry and Military Intelligence branches.
He has received recent instructor training at the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) in Neuroscience of De-escalation and Active Shooter Awareness at K-12 Schools.
